Make your first move

Read the decade clue. Reveal another clue if you need one, then choose a title.

Each question starts with its release decade. Reveal the director, release year or title initial when needed. Choose from four titles. One answer per question; wrong answers earn zero. Clues are generated from the included 39-film facts edition, not plot text or screenshots.

Common mistake

One answer per question. Wrong answers score zero; extra clues reduce the available points.

Strategy to try

1. Start with the decade: eliminate titles released outside that period before revealing more.
2. Use the director or year clue when the remaining choices are close. Extra clues reduce available points, but a correct informed answer can be better than a zero-point guess.

The daily board changes at midnight UTC. Your first completed daily score is saved in this browser. Practice starts a separate round. There is no account or subscription required; JavaScript is needed to play. Progress is device-local and clearing browser data removes it.
